$200 dollar note

Today in class we made a $200 dollar note. On my $200 dollar note i put Charles Upham. I put Charles Upham on my $200 dollar note because he is a war hero. i put a picture of world war 1 as his land mark because he was one of New Zealands most famous soldiers. I put a Carrier pigeon as a bird because these were one of the few birds that were around at war 1 and war 2 .I have made my note yellow because the note he was originally on was also yellow.

In Tui class we have been learning about Sandra Silberzweig and her art/inventions we made our very own art as well this is how me made it.  First we did a activity to do with patterns. Then we watched a video that explained her and her art . Then we talked about what we could put for designs traced our art on a piece of then we got started on a big sheet when we were done drawing we put Indian ink on it to make it stand out we used thick lines and thin ones then we colored and blended pastel and when we were done Mrs Cutler laminated our work here is a picture of mine
